How do you know if your old clothes should be passed along or just thrown away? Here are some things to consider when attempting to choose what to do with your old clothes

When you should offer your old clothing

Offer your old clothes if you have actually never used them. Clothing that has actually never ever been worn has a like new value, even if it is a couple of years old.

You can also sell clothes that did fit you, but you did not wear frequently. Maybe a costume or a tuxedo, that you probably won't wear again, would make a great sale item. Maybe you believed you really like a specific style of shirt, and bought 3 of them. After wearing them a few times, you recognized you actually just required one. Go ahead and offer the additional ones. If they are still in good condition, even though you used them a few times, there is no reason that they can't be resold.

When not to offer your old clothes.

On the other hand, you might have clothing that are harmed. Possibly you purchased an outfit that was the incorrect size, and you ripped it terribly while attempting to squeeze it on. Unless you can fix it to like to condition, just toss it out and count it as a loss. Likewise, if there are extremely visible discolorations that don't come out in the wash, it may turn purchasers away. Just toss the product away or use it as a rag.

Missing out on buttons, damaged zippers, and messed up joints are more factors not to try and offer your old clothes. If the old attire you have are dingy from age, they may not be worth a sale attempt either. Put these items together for a contribution to a clothes drive, or just get rid of them.
