Five Successes
- We made sure BAPHL would not be a one-off event.
- 15 of 16 teams finished the meta, including all 4 "normal" teams. This might mean the puzzles were too easy, but I'd rather they be too easy than too hard.
Five Problems
- No external testsolving.
- The metapuzzle was not marked as such, which caused unnecessary confusion.
- Puzzle distribution and answer verification system required more volunteers than we actually had, leading to chaos.
- The core writing/planning team included only one resident of the Boston area, which put an unfair burden on that resident.
